Depending on how and why you’re using Asana, you may find that you’re ready for a bit more oomph. Explore the suggestions below to get the most bang for your buck.
Custom Templates
While most of Asana’s features help you work smarter, not harder, Custom templates might be the epitome of this. Nail down how a Task or Project is meant to be run, and then if you’ll be running it more than once, you’re ready to dive into the world of Custom templates!
You’ll still have the ability to edit and tweak the templates once they’ve been created, but you’ll save yourself a lot of work and potential heartache by being extra-strategic and thoughtful at the start of your Project. Click to learn more about Ongoing Projects.
Portfolios
The more you work in Asana, the more work is in Asana, which makes it difficult to find what you’re looking for! Enter: Portfolios. They are like folders that allow you to group Projects (or even other Portfolios) together. Learn more about Asana Portfolios.
Reports
Now that you have all your work in Asana, you might be interested in what kind of data can be pulled into a report. There are a couple ways to get data from reports:
- Add charts to the project dashboard.
- For multiple Projects or Portfolios, dive into custom reports.
Goals
Do you know how all your work aligns with your personal, your team, and the college’s goals? Asana can help you build those relationships and find a connection between your daily work and the mission of the university. Learn more.
