Dear Future Member of the Class of 2028,
Welcome to the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine! We look forward to meeting you and introducing you to our all-digital curriculum. During Welcome Week, we will spend some time together—training you on your new iPad and getting you onboarded to several new learning tools.
We know that you did not pursue an education in medicine to learn technology, so we will do everything we can to help remove any technological barriers. Our goal is to provide a transformational learning experience that utilizes the best tools available in medicine and beyond.
This guide is your introduction to some of those tools. Please take a look at the information provided here and reach out to us if you would like to start a conversation about these resources. There are a few things that we need you to do now so we can be ready for Welcome Week. Please review the checklist below.
We want to be sure that you have everything you need to be successful—and that starts with having a great relationship with your technology team. We hope you enjoy your summer, and please reach out if you have any questions, concerns, or feedback.
Kind regards,
ERIKA FLECK
